How to help a baby blue bird?

We once found a baby robin. My dad built a wooden box where we kept him. Whenever he was hungry, he would open his beak almost flat and chirp. Then I would give him a few pieces of worm. You don't need to make him poop. Try, if you want/can, to find a wildlife center to bring him to. If you want to keep him, research them and maybe buy a bird cage.
