What kind of dog should I get?

You are gone all day and go out at night. The dog will be too much alone and not fair to the dog. I would definately tell you not to get a dog. You have to take time for the vet (high expenses), training, potty training. If you get an older dog, it is used to a routine and will be stressed enough as it is. You have to learn it's patterns so that if the dog "is not himself" or getting sick how will you know. Maybe when you are older and out of the young having a great time phase then get a dog.
