My BP II wife just selfish or is it Bipolar?

because Bipolar is episodic the symptoms come and go...... if she is only selfish when she is manic or just when she is depressed but nice the rest of the time then it is the Bipolar... if she is selfish all the time then it is just her personality. Selfishness is NOT a symptom of Bipolar.... lack of friends maybe but again Bipolar is episodic so if she hangs out with friends when she is normal but not when she is depressed then it may be from the Bipolar... if she never has friends then it is not.
